Want to hold a Yoga Party at our studio? This is the perfect way to introduce your friends to yoga or it makes a perfect gift.

We provide the space, the instructor and even catering by request.

I am writing in praise of Open Space Yoga and its wonderful belly dance instructor Fanny. My daughter Claire chose to have a belly dance party at Open Space to celebrate her 14th birthday. Without question, she and her friends had the time of their lives and all of the girls said it was one of the best birthday parties they'd ever attended. From the beginning, with Fanny attending to costume and make-up, to learning a great variety of belly dance moves, all of the girls were transfixed. Fanny even had them working with veils. The girls danced for over an hour and by the end, I couldn't believe how much they'd learned, how much fun they'd had and how much they all wanted to come back and do it all again! Thank you Fanny and Open Space. We'll definitely be back.

Yoga for Sports Groups

Many athletes use yoga to build long, strong muscles, increase flexibility and develop core strength. Not only does yoga produce noticeable results in a short time, but it also improves performance and is an excellent form of injury prevention. Whether you play a racquet sport and favor one side of your body, are a boxer who requires upper body strength, or a runner who puts stress on the lower body, yoga’s full spectrum of poses will help bring your body back into balance naturally. Yoga breathing is also an advantage to athletes (or anyone else) who needs to focus and relax under pressure. It will help you get into the 'zone' that state of relaxed awareness in which peak performance occurs.

Yoga for Athletes

Improve your game by targeting the areas of your body that affect your swing, stamina, mental acuity, balance and coordination. Yoga will help your body become more limber and even heighten your concentration. All handicaps and fitness levels welcome!

Yoga for Hockey

Yoga is perfect for Hockey Players. Improve your core strength, gain freedom of the breath mental clarity and flexibility. We have hosted several Hockey clubs and all have benefited from a yoga practice.

Yoga for Runners

Focus on finding freedom from the ground up, from massaging the feet and learning self care of the feet to lengthening the leg muscles, buttocks and hips. Yoga breathing can help you find your stride!

We have also provided classes for Junior Hockey and Soccer Groups.

We provide the space, yoga props and the instructor

Rates for Parties or Private Group Classes:

Up to 60 minutes (2-10 people) $130 per class
over 10 people add $20 per person

Up to 90 minutes (2-10 people) $150 per class
over 10 people add $20 per person

Rates are negotiable if you book a regular weekly private classes. Contact us for more details and space availabiltiy

STUDIO SPACE RENTAL

Our studio is a beautiful $1,400 sq ft open space located in the heart of Ladner Village. It is available during non-scheduled class time to rent for your own workshops, events or classes.

Space Rental includes:
Use of our 1,400 sq. ft studio space
Use of all of our many yoga props
Bathroom and supplies

Space Rental Does Not include:
Use of the Open Space Yoga logo
Visa/MasterCard/Interac Machine
Open Space Yoga Website
Any of the Open Space Yoga promotional materials
Registration or enquiries through Open Space Yoga staff

Renters must promote their own events independantly from the Open Space Yoga branding.

Space Rental Fee $50 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours.
50% Deposit damage deposit required.
Regular weekly space rentals and non-profit group use are negotiable.
